Hey there! My name is Cheryl and I am a dancer from Boston, Massachusetts. My husband Isaac is a kind and shy guy from Uganda. We met in May of 2017 in Mbale, Uganda while I was on a humanitarian trip. We became best friends and fell in love that Summer. We started dating long distance after I went home for school and got engaged 6 months later when I went out to visit him! We got married in Uganda in June of 2018 and we lived together for 3 months before I had to return to the states.
I am currently studying Midwifery in Utah and Isaac is studying Civil Engineering in Uganda. We are currently doing long distance while we work on Isaac's visa to the U.S.! It has been the hardest 2 years of our lives, but we have grown so much because of this experience. We can't wait to be together as a family again. This is a space where we can share all of our fun adventures and life's journeys as newlyweds. Thanks again for following along!
